BEYOND BARRIERS LABS INC | ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY


PURPOSE

This acceptable use policy sets out acceptable and unacceptable uses of the Beyond Barriers Service with the goal of maintaining a safe and respectful community. The examples described in this policy are not exhaustive, and nothing in this policy is intended to grant any rights or permissions not set forth in or contrary to those contained in any other written agreement with Beyond Barriers governing your use of the Service. This policy may be revised periodically as Beyond Barriers grows and evolves, so please check this policy regularly throughout your use of our Service. Capitalized terms used below but not defined in this policy have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Service.

Beyond Barriers employs various means of ensuring compliance with this policy to keep our Service safe for and respectful of all users. If we determine that a user has committed serious and/or repeated violations, we may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Service.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

At all times during your use of the Service, you must:

  • Comply with our Terms of Service and this Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Communicate in a respectful manner, including with Beyond Barriers staff, coaches, and other users of the Service;
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation intellectual property, data, and privacy laws;
  • Upload, post, and disseminate only data and content which you own or have legal permission to disclose;
  • Treat all online and offline cohort discussions as confidential and not disclose any sensitive, confidential, or personal information of other participants (or their organizations) learned through your participation in such online or offline activities;
  • Use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to the Service;
  • Keep your password and login information confidential and not share your access credentials with any other party;
  • Promptly notify us if you become aware of or reasonably suspect illegal or unauthorized activity associated with your account; and
  • Ensure that we have a way to contact you by keeping the email associated with your account current and valid, updating it as necessary.

PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Beyond Barriers will consider it a violation of this policy to:

  • Share or disclose in any manner confidential or proprietary information (including trade secrets) of your employer, any other users, or any third party;
  • Record any online or offline activities performed in connection with the Service, such as in-person cohort discussions;
  • Use the Service in any tortious or unlawful conduct;
  • Permit any third party to access the Service with your credentials, or aid any third party in accessing the Service in a manner that is unauthorized;
  • Share, transfer, or otherwise provide any Service to which you have access to any third party;
  • Use the Service in any manner that infringes upon or misappropriates someone else’s trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, hack, disable, modify, or interfere with the Service in any manner;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Service or related systems or networks for any purpose;
  • Access the Service (either with or without authorization) with the purpose of building a competitive service or product;
  • Harass other users, or use the Service in any manner whatsoever that may result in harm to minors or that otherwise targets people under the age of thirteen;
  • Use the Service in any manner which furthers the incitement of harm, violence, or hatred against individuals or groups, or to describe such harm, violence, or hatred;
  • Impersonate another person or entity or otherwise misrepresent yourself in a manner that violates the Terms of Service or applicable law;
  • Access, search, or create accounts for the Service by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example, "scraping" or creating accounts in bulk);
  • Send or post unsolicited communications, promotions or advertisements, or spam;
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited and unwelcome messages or other communications to other users for any purpose;
  • Authorize, permit, enable, induce, or encourage any third party to do any of the above.
